The Boocha Bar and Taproom in Weslaco offers vegan hoagies, pizza, soup and kombucha made in house with unique flavors that rotate every week. This vegan hot spot is the perfect place to get your next post workout meal.
Kombucha is a carbonated fermented tea made from yeast grown gut supporting bacteria packed with probiotics to promote gut health and healthy digestion. Boocha Bar’s kombucha is made fresh with local and organic ingredients (Way to support Valley businesses!).

For our first course, we were lucky enough catch their specialty dish of the day, Tostadas. Made with black beans, corn, zucchini, and spicy poblano sauce.
Our second course was their Back To Cauli hoagie (my personal lunch favorite), a hot sandwich with grilled cauliflower, roasted garlic, balsamic glaze, spinach, and red sauce.


Our third course and showstopper was their Street Taco Pizza with seasoned ground walnuts, cilantro, red onion, vegan cashew cheese, cilantro sauce, and jalapeño. Which made for a deliciously spicy, and filling lunch.
With our meal we enjoyed this week’s kombucha flavors strawberry basil, lavender ginger, lemongrass ginger, and piña colada being our favorite. You are encouraged to sample all four flavors before ordering, which we love.

Overall, the Boocha Bar and Taproom is a great place to catch your next vegan nutrient packed meal.
